Mohawk Bend, Echo Park, CA
Local Swans was commissioned and installed in 2021.

Design wise, I wanted the mural to have a woodblock feel and give a nod to the Echo Park community.  I wanted each plant, animal and floral to signify the community it was surrounded by.
The swans in the Echo Park Lake. The bears and palms for California. The hops for the craft beer they specialized in.
